Boost Your Home's Value

There are lots of inexpensive ways and projects that can boost your home's value. Here are some ways you can make your home look desirable while increasing its value.

  • Clean and remove all of the clutter. Wipe down baseboards, windowsills, and walls. Paint the baseboards and doors and nice white. Clean dusty light fixtures, chandeliers, and scour ceiling fans. Fix any broken doors or windows.

  • Remove outdated wallpaper, and paint the walls with a neutral color such as warm tans, honeys, taupe's and sages. Keep the color flow from room to room. Don't over due it with color.

  • Repair any broken floor tiles and always re-grout. Consider replacing your carpet if the carpet is badly stained or has holes in it. Make sure you don't spend a fortune on the carpet.

  • Give your kitchen a makeover by painting the cabinets or installing decorative pull knobs. Replace old faucets in the kitchen and bathrooms. Recaulk around the sinks and faucets. Change outdated light fixtures, and add more lights to darker areas in your home.

  • Highlight key architectural elements of your home such as crown moldings or tall windows. Show off your views. Paint moldings a color that contrasts the walls to draw attention to them. Subtle, neutral or white.

  • Spruce up the landscaping with colorful flowerbeds, and maintain an immaculate yard. Paint the fence, mow the lawn, clean windows, clean the glass door, paint your trim, and check your roof.

Hope this was helpful!!!!!
