Buyer Incentive

Obama is coming to Denver today to sign the stimulus package.....

This will affect Americans in many different ways but, one great way it will affect us is the home buying incentive. First time home buyers will receive a $8,000 tax incentive if they buy a house between now and December 31, 2009. Meaning, if a first time home buyer buys a house they will receive a $8,000 tax bonus or 10% of the purchase price (whichever is least) when they file their taxes. The best part about this tax incentive is the fact that it does not have to be paid back.

Home buyers can also get tax incentives for home improvements and converting your home to a more "green" way of living. Please check with your tax professional for tips on this.
